Tampere’s Omena Hotel is right in the heart of the city. You’ll find everything the city centre has to offer on the doorstep, from a wide range of cafes to restaurants and bars, pizzerias, pubs, hamburger restaurants and take aways. Tampere’s major department stores, the indoor market, and the Koskikeskus shopping centre, not to mention a wealth of fashion boutiques and specialist shops are all within walking distance of the hotel.

Breakfast

The hotel building is also home to Buffet & Cafe Linkosuo, where Omena guests can enjoy a breakfast buffet for €7.50/person (children aged 4 – 11 €4.50. Children’s breakfasts can’t be ordered in advance, so it’s fine to just turn up on the day). Breakfast is served Mon-Fri 07:00-10:00, Sat 8:00-11:00 and Sun 9:00-11:00. Take your booking confirmation with you to the restaurant.

Parking

There is plenty of parking near the hotel. Besides the Frenckel underground car park in Keskustori, there is also parking in Anttila car park and at P-Hämeenpuisto. GROUPS: If you’d like breakfast but haven’t booked it in advance through Omena Hotels, please tell Buffet & Cafe Linkosuo on arrival (phone 020 7702481). The 9th floor of the hotel has a sauna suite which can be booked for meetings, training courses, etc. As well as the sauna, there is also a superb lounge which can accommodate 20 people, complete with an open fire.
